2018-2019 Career Sponsorship Opportunities

JobQuest is our signature career event (September 5, 2018) and presents employers with a unique way to interact with School of Business students, faculty, staff, and alumni. This educational event is geared toward teaching our students interview networking etiquette do’s and don’ts from professionals in the industry. The event will begin with an employer-led seminar designed to provide students with valuable job search information and end with a "Meet the Employers" Reception. As a sponsor, you stand side-by-side with the School of Business as we inspire and teach the next generation of the workforce.

  • A six foot table in a highly visible location to present props and company signage during the reception
  • Public recognition during the event with a 30-second statement to be read by the Director of Career Services
  • Standalone color logo on event media screens (If applicable)

Ask the Professional Speaker Series Sponsorship (12 available)..................$900 (per panel)

Career Services invites you to be a part of our Ask the Professionals Panel and Networking event series. For this event, we will be focusing on Graduate and Undergraduate students with an interest in the Marketing and Public Relations, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems Management, Leadership, GovCon, or Management. We host each theme twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring. Students attend to network with professionals and learn about our majors and the career paths that they may take.

Welcomefest is a tradition in the School of Business! Each September the Office of Academic and Career Services host Welcomefest for 800 new and current undergraduate and graduate students. Students attend to enjoy pizza and soda, sign up for activities, meet the Career & Academic Advisors and faculty, learn about our majors & minors, get a free t-shirt, and explore School of Business student clubs & organizations.

Benefits include:

  • Color logo or sponsor name on signage at photo booth and on unlimited prints of photo keepsake strip to attendees
  • May provide one logo promotional item to each event attendee
  • Acknowledgment of sponsorship and company link on the School of Business website

The Tips for Success event is one of two annual signature student events hosted by the Women in Business Initiative with support of School of Business Career Services. Hosted in the fall, this interactive panel event is geared towards teaching our students tips from professionals in the industry. As a sole sponsor and partner in action, you stand side-by-side with the School of Business as we inspire and teach the next generation of the workforce.

Benefits include:

  • One six foot table to present company signage and may provide one logoed promotional item to each event attendee (estimated distribution of 100)
  • Opportunity to fill one seat on the panel with a company representative
  • Public recognition during the event with a 30-second statement to be read by the School of Business Director of Career Services
  • Opportunity to offer opening and closing remarks
  • Color logo on all event marketing materials and on media screens

Etiquette Presentation Student Event Sponsor (only one available) ..............................$2,000

The Women in Business Etiquette Presentation is one of two annual signature student events hosted by the Women in Business Initiative with support of School of Business Career Services. Hosted in the spring, this event presents one employer a unique opportunity to interact with School of Business students, faculty, staff, and young alumni. This interactive luncheon and dinner is geared towards teaching our students business and dinning etiquette from professionals. As a sole sponsor and partner in action, you stand side-by-side with the School of Business as we inspire and teach the next generation of the workforce.

Benefits include:

  • One six foot table to present giveaways and company signage
  • Opportunity for a company representative to be a table etiquette host
  • Public recognition during the event with a 30-second statement to be read by the School of Business Director of Career Services
