Jim Hsieh is an associate professor of finance in the School of Business at George Mason University.

Hsieh's research interests focus on corporate finance, mainly on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining the faculty at Mason in 2002, Hsieh taught several undergraduate courses at The Ohio State University.
