Graduates on the Move

Three School of Management alumni were recently in the news for company promotions and new career placements.

John Sutton MBA ’96, was just named General Manager and Executive Vice President of Mission and Information Solutions at QinetiQ based in McLean, VA.  The Mission and Information Solutions division delivers information and services to the United States Homeland Security Department.  Mr. Sutton will be responsible for revenue and profit generation, customer satisfaction, and employee health and welfare.  He previously held the role of Senior Vice President of Business Development at QinetiQ.  Congratulations Mr. Sutton on your success!

Matt Jesinsky BA ’90, is now Vice President, Federal Funding Manager for TD Equipment Finance in Vienna, VA.  Mr. Jesinsky will be responsible for providing financing solutions for all agencies of the federal government through installment payment plan options with vendors and OEMs nationwide.  Before joining TD Bank, Jesinsky spent over 16 years working for government contracting firms in the D.C. Metro area.  He most recently worked for Qivliq, LLC, in Herndon, VA as their Chief Administrative Officer.  Congratulations Mr. Jesinsky on your placement at TD Bank!

Lisa Featherngill BA ’85, has been named by Abbot Downing, Managing Director of Planning.  Abbot Downing is a new brand set to launch in April that combines the businesses of Wells Fargo Family Wealth and Lowry Hill.  Ms. Featherngill has over 25 years of tax and financial planning experience and is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner.  Some of her responsibilities at Abbot Downing, in addition to financial planning, includes services such as financial reporting and cash management.  As an employee of Wells Fargo, Featherngill has previously held the position of Director of Wealth Planning for the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic offices.  Congratulations and best of luck in your new position!
