Jason Howell is a native of California with roots in both the Caribbean and Hispanic culture. For over 25 years he has lived in Northern Virginia and considers the Commonwealth his home.
With New York Life Insurance, he serves his fellow Americans in the difficult area of personal finance. He was a 2012 U.S. Congressional candidate, former chapter President of Association for Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting and former local President of Toastmasters – the international, non-profit organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills. In 2011, he published his first book, AMERICA: Still the Land of Opportunity, Always a Home for the Brave.
In 2014 he plans to publish his 2nd book on “Patriotic Development™”, a phrase he coined to help the current generation identify long term objectives and start building a legacy for themselves, their families, and their country.
Lt. Col. Russell E. Jamison, Jr. ’83 BS Accounting Joint Training System Specialist Camber Corporation
In 2007, Russell E. Jamison, Jr. retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a Lieutenant Colonel with over 25 years of service. He was present in the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 and is a combat veteran of Iraq. He is currently the Joint Training System Specialist with Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command. Additionally, he serves as an Adjunct Faculty member for the Marine Corps University College of Distance Education/Training.
Along with his BS in Accounting from George Mason University, Jamison holds an MS Degree in Leadership from Boston University.
