Smart Hive Hackathon

Come out to the MIX@InnovationHall and hack a real beehive. Learn about bees, the internet of things, electronics, sensors, coding and customer centric design. Leverage technology to solve the crisis facing honeybees worldwide, “Colony Collapse Disorder”, and the serious consequences it poses for humans. Open to all students, faculty, and staff of George Mason. Come explore, experiment and have a great time with Mason’s community of makers, creators, innovators and entrepreneurs. Pizza, coffee, drinks, and snacks provided. It’s going to ‘bee’ awesome.
