Be a Hero and Save Lives on April 18th!

George Squared Advanced Biomedical Sciences Program is proud to sponsor our first annual blood drive with the American Red Cross on Tuesday, April 18th, 2017 at GMU’s The Hub Ballroom (!

An estimated 38 percent of Americans are eligible to give blood, but of those, less than 10 percent actually donate each year. Each pint of blood we collect can help save up to three lives and will touch the lives of so many more. Help become a part of the lifesaving mission of the Red Cross and G2 Advanced Biomedical Sciences Program, and join us at our Be a Hero Blood Drive.

The theme of the blood drive is SUPERHEROES and we will be attempting to set a Mason record for most blood donors wearing a cape. Participants are encouraged to come dressed up as their favorite superhero characters. If you don’t have a costume, no worries, because we will have loaner capes on site as well. We will be providing FREE FOOD, goodies, and music on site. There will also be a PHOTO BOOTH with props to help show off your heroic Mason pride.
