Need help deciding which MBA electives to take?

Elective courses can play an important role in your MBA education, but we understand it may be difficult to choose the right courses based only on the short descriptions listed in the course catalog. In an effort to help you select the electives that make the most sense for you, we’ve created short video descriptions of many of our electives.

Learn more about our electives directly from the MBA faculty who teach these courses. We’ve created video descriptions for the following electives:

MBA 726 Negotiations

MBA 711 Entrepreneurship

MBA 714 Managing Growth

MBA 719 Entrepreneurship Laboratory

MBA 738 Business Intelligence and Data Mining

MBA730 Management of Technology and Innovation Processes

MBA703 Financial Markets

MBA722 Consumer Behavior

MBA 716 International Business Strategy

MBA723 Supply Chain Management

These videos can be found, along with the course description and past course syllabi, at http://business.gmu.edu/mba-programs/curriculum/courses-syllabi/. You can also view all of the videos on our YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLC3QehoPznmpBBDtalxbGoL_S3TiPgx1n.

If you have any questions about which courses are right for you based on your chosen career path, please contact Rebecca Diemer at rdiemer@gmu.edu or 703-993-2216.
