Zeponic Farms is an innovative vertical urban farm located in a repurposed shipping container that may grow as much produce as an acre of a traditional farmland while using 95% less water, a fraction of the fertilizer, and with no pesticides or herbicides. Vertical farming techniques have been developed to grow more food on a smaller land footprint, using less water and fertilizer, and reducing the distance traveled by produce from farm to urban table. Discuss vertical farms as new land uses and as potential tenants and amenities for commercial buildings. Register at https://verticalurbanfarm.eventbrite.com.
