Students must be able to complete the internship during the semester they are enrolled. Retroactive credit is not granted. For summer internships, the course starts in A session and ends in C session.

Required Hours: Students must complete 150 hours at their internship site to receive three credits. Students will receive a letter grade for the course.

Assignments: Student complete reflective journals submitted on Blackboard.

Evaluations: A mid and end of the semester evaluation is completed by the internship site supervisor, then turned in to the instructor. The student also reviews and signs the evaluation.

Research Paper/Project: Student completes a research paper/project related to their internship experience and major. Prior to submitting the research paper, the student submits a research topic for instructor approval.
