Northern Virginia Apartment Summit: Apartments in an Experience Economy
Renters are increasingly attracted to properties that move beyond the amenity race to provide community engagement and experiences.  Successful real estate developers and managers provide effective place-making, social media linkages, upgraded services, neighborhood connections, activated common areas and spaces, and even programmed events to differentiate from the competition and add value to their properties.

Learn about new ideas, disruption, opportunities and challenges. The Northern Virginia Apartment Summit will appeal to apartment owners, developers, investors, property managers, and vendors.

Morning sessions will include keynote presentations by Eric Burka of Streetsense on “Apartments in an Experience Economy", Jamie Gorski and Khushbu Sikaria of Bozzuto Group on "Experiential Disruption: Enhance Customer Loyalty and Elevate Your Brand", Sandy Paul and Bethany Schneider of Newmark Knight Frank on "Preparing for a Recession: The Value of Grocery Stores to Apartment Investors”.

Afternoon sessions will include presentations by Nate Loewentheil of venture capital firm Camber Creek on "Technology- Driven Experiences", Jason Fudin of WhyHotel on "Pop-Ups that Blur the Line Between Hospitality and Apartments", and Rich Haughey of the National Multifamily Housing Council on "An Update on Package Management: The 2018 Package Delivery Survey".
