Become a Cyber Security Leader
It has been recognized that many cyber vulnerabilities exist because of a lack of cyber security awareness and the demand for professionals that have technology, management, and public policy experience has increased significantly. With our cross-discipliary cyber security graduate program, you have the opportunity to seamlessly connect your studies in the management, policy, and technical aspects of information security with the contemporary business environment. Our faculty members are renowned experts that connect business theory with the realities of today's global buisness environment and advocate real-world, experiential learning.
Unlike other cyber security graduate programs, we integrate high-impact activities outside the traditional classroom setting enabling you to advance your leadership and gain hands-on cyber security management abilities. An integral part our MS in Management of Secure Information Systems is the opportunity to gain an invaluable global perspective during the intensive weeklong global residency. Each component of the cyber security graduate program explores the role of information systems in the complex world economy and examines the risks and opportunities inherent in global commerce.
The program culminates with a capstone project and an international residency. In the capstone project, student teams build on program course work to develop a strategic evaluation and plan for the management of secure information systems within a company or a division of a company, either real or hypothetical. Students may use a start-up project as well. At the end of the capstone project, the student teams present their proposals to a panel of executives.
