Profile:

For twenty-one years, Ms. Cartwright served as a forensic accountant for the United States Department of Justice. She analyzed financial documents to uncover evidence and develop deliverables for trial while investigating criminal and civil matters that involved bank fraud, health care fraud, public corruption, bankruptcy fraud, and money laundering. With the U.S. Trustee’s Office, Ms. Cartwright supervised the Fraud Unit. Previously, she held the position of management consultant and helped to streamline operations, strengthen internal controls, and implement accounting software for corporations. She also taught at several universities and colleges in the Los Angeles area on the subjects of accounting, strategic planning, and project management in addition to holding seminars in accounting throughout the nation for various government agencies. During her English graduate studies, Ms. Cartwright tutored ESL students and wrote the handbook Grammar Guidelines.
