Dr. Ari Malka is a Human Capital Consultant at PDRI. Most of his project work involves competency models, training needs analyses, and assessment development and validation. In addition to his experience at PDRI, he interned at ExxonMobil and NASA. In addition to consulting, he is also very interested in teaching and research. His main areas of interest include personality in the workplace, diversity, and organizational teams. As such, he continues to try and contribute to the field by working on research papers for publication.
Dr. Malka received his PhD in industrial-organizational psychology from the University of Houston in 2012. As a graduate student, he had the opportunity to pursue his research interests, consult with ExxonMobil, and teach several undergraduate psychology courses. Dr. Malka is a member of the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the Personnel Testing Council - Metropolitan Washington (PTC-MW). He has presented papers at a variety of conferences, including SIOP, Academy of Management, European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology, and Work, Stress, and Health.
