Gary Markin joins the School of Business Faculty with robust credentials, both academically and professionally.  He is a seasoned corporate leader with proven experience driving market share, revenue, and profit growth while developing corporate capacity and leadership.  He is most noted for rapidly assessing diverse situational challenges and developing and leading resulting action plans, particularly with technology based organizations. 
Professor Markin, as both an executive and consultant, has worked with many prestigious companies, including EDS, Lockheed Martin, AT&T, AOL, Research in Motion, Net2Phone and Fugro EarthData.  Additionally, he has consulted to and been instrumental in driving the success of several early stage, entrepreneurial ventures.
He holds a BS in Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA in International Business and Finance from Cornell University.  Mr. Markin resides in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife, Laurie, and two children.
