Alan Brody is a Graduate Lecturer with a special interest in business and society. He is a Ph.D. candidate in the History department at GMU concentrating on the history of capitalism and social history. His dissertation focuses on the rise of the franchise business model in postwar America using the restaurant industry as a case study. He is also very interested in small business and minority business formation.
For the last 15 years, he has also served as a member of the Information Technology Management team in Fairfax County Public Schools where he oversees a Level 2 Service Desk.
