Jongdoo Lee is an associate professor in the finance department at George Mason University. Prior to joining the finance faculty at the School of Business, Lee worked at The Kookmin Bank in Seoul, Korea, as a credit analyst and loan officer on commercial and consumer loans and as a researcher at Kookmin Economic Research Institute.

Lee's research interests are in international economics and finance with a focus on issues relating to international entrepreneurship, risk and return, trading strategies, economic recovery, and small business. His research has been published in International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business, Journal of International Economics and Finance, Journal of Futures Market, and The Citizens Economic Review.

Lee's academic experience includes teaching in the finance departments at George Washington University, the University of Maryland University College, and West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
