Nicola Scott, instructor of business and marketing communications, coordinates the teaching of 22 writing recitations per week, oversees a group of seven supporting faculty members, and creates curriculum for the lab portion of the School of Business 301 class.

Scott has worked for the School of Business as a recitation instructor and supporting faculty member for the past three years teaching School of Business 301 Business Models: A learning by Writing Introduction. She has previously taught for Fairfax County public schools, the Northern Virginia Community College at Annandale, and Fairfax Collegiate. She is a freelance editor and has served as a creative writing mentor, writing project judge, and content editor for The GW Journal.
