Long Chen is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the School of Business, George Mason University. She conducts archival research on issues concerning financial reporting, auditing and corporate governance. Her work has been published in Auditing: A Journal of Practice & Theory, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, and Current Issues in Auditing. She has taught courses of Managerial and Cost Accounting and Advanced Managerial Accounting to both undergraduate and master of accounting students.

Long Chen received her PhD in accounting from Washington University in St. Louis in 2008. Prior to beginning her doctoral study, she spent three years with Lenovo and Hewlett Packard (China) in the accounting and finance group.
