Profile:

Serdar Aldatmaz is an assistant professor of finance in the School of Business. His research interest include private equity, venture capital, labor relations, and international finance. He has experience teaching corporate finance at UNC's Kenan-Flagler Business School, where he won the Outstanding Teaching Award.

Research and Awards:

Presented the paper titled, “Persistence of Innovation Around Initial Public Offerings: Evidence from NonVC-Backed IPOs” at the Financial Management Association Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida in 2015. 

Presented the paper titled, “Persistence of Innovation around Initial Public Offerings: Evidence from NonVC-Backed IPOs” at the European Financial Management Association (EFMA) annual meeting in Venice, Italy in 2015. 

Presented the paper titled, “Private Equity in the Global Economy: Evidence on Industry Spillovers” at the Southern Finance Association Annual Meeting in Key West, Florida in 2014.
