Profile:

Kevin F. McCrohan is a professor of marketing in the School of Business. He has been a Senior Fulbright Scholar at the School of Business, Kathmandu University, Nepal as well as Senior Fulbright Scholar at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.

Research and Awards:

Had the presentation titled “Case Study of Performance Importance Analysis in Assurance of Learning” (with colleague James Harvey) published in the proceedings from the EDULearn16 in May 2016.

Presented the paper titled, “When is it Appropriate to use Dead Celebrity Images in Programming Advertising and Marketing - Analysis and Recommendations” at the AMA Marketing and Public Policy Conference in Washington, DC  in 2015 (with coauthor Denver D'Rozario).

Had the presentation titled “Consumer Connectivity: Recommended Curriculum,” published in the proceedings from the 7th International Conference of Education, Research and Innovation in 2014 (with colleague James Harvey).

Had the paper titled “A New Way of Learning: The Impact of Hybrid Distance Education on Student Performance” (with coauthors James Harvey, Frank Philpot, and Jeffrey Kulick) published in the conference proceedings for the Horizon Report E-Live Webinar New Media Consortium and the EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative in 2014.

Had the presentation titled “The Effects of Peer Collaboration on Student Evaluations of Distance Education in Marketing” published in the proceedings from the Society for Marketing Advances in 2012 (with coauthors James Harvey, Jeffrey Kulick, and Frank Philpot). 

Presented the paper titled, “Extracting Nuances of Cross-cultural Concerns for Marketing: A Study Using Muslim/Western Reviews Concerning Two Films” at the American Marketing Association Educators' Conference in Florida in February 2012 (with Laurie Meamber and Fiona Sussan). The paper was also published by the American Marketing Association. 

Awarded the Distance Ed Grant from the Office of Distance Education at George Mason University in 2011 to pilot distance education in MKTG 301.

Presented the paper titled “Effects of Peer Helping on Evaluations of Distance Learning” at the George Mason University Distance Education Council in Fairfax, Virginia in 2012 (with James Harvey,Frank Philpot, and Jeffrey Kulick. 

Presented the paper titled “The Impact of Hybrid Distance Learning on Student Performance” at the American Institute of Higher Education 7th International Conference in Williamsburg, VA (with James Harvey,Frank Philpot, and Jeffrey Kulick).  The paper was also published in the conference proceedings.
