Simon Boylen joined George Mason in fall 2015 as an instructor of business. He brings more than 17 years of professional experience and 4 years of teaching experience into the classroom.
Boylen previously taught at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. He served as the marketing director for the Australian Join Strike Fighter Industry Team with Sabre Systesm and General Dynamics. He has also worked as a business development manager for the Australian Trade Commission.
Specializing in the management of cross-cultural communications and
overcoming the obstacles that inevitably arise in international business transactions, Boylen has 15 years’ experience developing business-to-business (B2B) strategies for importers bringing their products into America. He was also a business development consultant for firms bidding on multimillion
dollar World Bank funded projects.
