Michael R. Vanderpool is the senior attorney of the law firm of Vanderpool, Frostick & Nishanian, P.C. He has practiced law for more than 30 years, concentrating his practice in the areas of business law and commercial real estate. He has been named the “Legal Elite Business Attorney” by Virginia Business Magazine and by SmartCEO Magazine.

Vanderpool has experience in every aspect of the law as it applies to real estate development, from formation of legal entities, to the negotiation of acquisition contracts, zoning, financing, operating and disposition of real estate assets. As a real estate developer, he also understand the business dynamics of the life cycle of a real estate project, including risk allocation, valuation analysis and the dynamics of running a real estate development entity

Vanderpool is a former trustee of the George Mason University Foundation and has served on the Board of Directors for the United Way of the National Capital Area and has held several community leadership positions.
