The conference will bring together thought leaders working on current issues in fraud in the government sector. Attendees can earn 8 hours of CPE.

2012, August 3: Conference on Investor Protection, Corporate Governance, and Fraud Prevention, George Mason University

The conference brought together scholars working on current issues in the broad area of corporate governance, fraud, and investor protection. Prior conferences included papers covering a wide range of governance issues and featured well known researchers in both accounting and finance.

2011, May 5-6: Conference on Fraud and the Financial Crisis, Mason Inn Conference Center and Hotel

The conference included a full-day session of speakers and panel sessions and a half-day session of executive education sessions on the fundamentals of financial derivatives (specifically collateralized debt obligations) and the pros and cons of mark-to-market accounting. Speakers and panelists included senior personnel from the DOJ, Treasury, and the FBI.
