Charles Dolgas was present at the creation of the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy with the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. He ran the day-to-day operations of the department as it built capacity through grants.
He is experienced in developing institution-building skills in a soft-funded environment with a goal of advancing research and publication on the processes of diplomacy. This includes fundraising and grants, program management, public affairs, and editing and printing of publications. An additional area of expertise is case method instruction -- an active learning technique in the classroom. This technique will be incorporated into GovCon courses.
