Candidates applying to the MS in Management who have demonstrated a strong academic background may apply for a GMAT/GRE waiver. We look at previous academic performance, undergraduate major, post undergraduate degrees, and amount and type of professional work experience when evaluating waiver requests.

For Fall 2019 applicants, GMAT/GRE waivers will only be considered with completed applications for the MS in Managmeet program. In order to be considered for a test waiver, students must confirm receipt of the following items in their Self Service Center: transcripts and resume. International applicants must confirm receipt of transcript evaluations and English proficiency test scores. Applicants must also complete the School of Business Essay located in the "Program Selection" section of the online application addressing the following:

In no fewer than 500 words, please explain to the admissions committee your quantitative background. Include previous and/or current quantitative/analytical academic courses completed as well as grades received at the undergraduate, graduate, certificate, or non-degree level. In addition, include an example of a professional experience that demonstrates your quantitative skills. Describe to the committee and provide examples of your ability to communicate in a strong written and oral capacity. Be sure to list any earned certifications.

You must first submit an application to the MS in Management program. You will be notified via email if you do or do not qualify for the GMAT/GRE waiver after your application has been submitted and your transcripts and resume are uploaded to the Self Service Center. Applicants who received their degree overseas must also submit their transcript evaluation and TOEFL or IELTS scores before their application will be evaluated for a GRE/GMAT waiver.
