Dewberry is currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our Mid-Atlantic Marketing Team. The position supports marketing professionals for proposal, promotional, and business development efforts. Our Mid-Atlantic Marketing Team supports local offices, strategic pursuits, and collaborates with other marketers to develop strategy and submit winning proposals to our targeted clients. Our team’s mission is to collaborate, leverage key skillsets and drive the strategy for our region. This position works with a team of experienced marketers who work together supporting each other's professional growth. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional who understands deadline-driven work and can work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Works with marketing coordinators, marketing managers, and technical staff, to develop, produce, and deliver proposals
  • Performs market and client research
  • Database input
  • Creates reports
  • Assists in planning conferences and company events
  • Organizes and manage marketing collateral
  • Edits marketing materials

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or  related field is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work in a team
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Organized and attentive to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous deadlines
  • Proficiency working with Microsoft Office programs(Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required
  • Familiarity working with Adobe Suite (InDesign) preferred 
  • Familiarity working with database programs Availability to work overtime, as necessary, in order to meet deadlines.
