Special Course Offering Fall 2024: FNAN 300 Personal Finance

George Mason University's Personal Finance class provides a path for students to achieve significant long-term wealth. This class is open to all students and will be taught by Mason Alumni, Daryl Wieland. Below are some special highlights of the course:
 

  • Professor Daryl Wieland is an industry expert with corporate and personal financial experience.
  • Professor Wieland uses a fresh approach to personal finance, providing the learners with a consistent, repeatable decision process for a lifetime of great financial decisions.
  • The class is taught with a textbook including smartphone tools to simulate the financial decisions and to reinforce that decision process.
  • Videos and alternative learning media will be provided to reinforce subject mastery.
  • This course features guest speakers whowill bring their enthusiastic expertise for many personal finance topics.

*FNAN 300 counts as a general elective for all students. This course does not count towards the Finance or FPWM concentrations, or Finance minor.
