Dr. Wolf Named MBA and MSA Program Director

Dr. Paige Wolf has been named the director of graduate programs for the School of Business. This currently includes the MBA and MS in Accounting programs and the new MA in Business Management, which is anticipated to launch this fall.

Paige Wolf"My vision for our graduate programs is to have a vibrant, collegial community of active learners who develop enduring professional relationships with faculty, staff, and fellow students while pursuing their degrees at Mason," says Wolf.

In addition to her focus on building a stronger sense of community among graduate students, Wolf will also work with her colleagues to develop new delivery formats for the MBA program to meet the changing needs of today's graduate students.

"In the fall of 2013 we will launch a new delivery format enabling part-time students to complete the degree in two years," says Wolf. "In the near future we hope to develop an online or hybrid delivery method that maintains our high-quality standards as well as sustaining meaningful interactions among students and faculty."

Wolf is an associate professor of management who has taught in the MBA for the past six years of her 11-year tenure with the School of Business. She has been recognized for her work in the classroom, having been honored with the George Mason University Teaching Excellence Award. She recently focused her research on examining the benefits of global residencies in graduate programs.

Wolf brings to her new role a wealth of professional experience working in collaborative environments, solving problems, and building partnerships. In addition to her years of experience in higher education, she has worked as an internal and external consultant for more than 16 years and maintained an active consulting practice through her own company, Performance Matters, LLC.

She earned her PhD in industrial and organizational psychology from Virginia Tech and is certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
