Masters in Accounting Application Options

Accelerated MS in Accounting Applicants

This application process is for Mason undergraduate accounting majors who have room in their schedules to take at least one graduate course during their undergraduate program.

  • Brief paper application
  • Transcript
  • 2 Letters of recommendation (professional or academic)
  • 3.0 GPA and no grade less than B- in accounting at the 300-level or above and after admission to the program

Fast-track Applicants

This application process is for Mason undergraduate accounting majors who are unable to take at least one graduate course during their undergraduate program. This option is also available for forensic accounting certificate students who have completed at least 3 graduate courses with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

  • Transcript
  • 2 Letters of recommendation (professional or academic)
  • Requires 3.0 GPA and no grade less than B- in accounting at the 300-level or above

Traditional Applicants

If you do not qualify for either of the above application processes, you must apply using the traditional MS in Accounting application process.
