General Electives

General electives are needed to round out the 120 credits for your BS degree. The following are the requirements for general elective credits:

  • Credits awarded as Associate Degree Elective Credit (ADEC) as part of a student's transfer evaluation are also excluded from general electives.
  • For 2009 and later catalog years, only the following courses are restricted:  ADEC and MSOM courses (except MSOM 305).For information on minors, click here.
  • For catalog years prior to 2009, restricted courses are any course listed below. These will not be counted towards your BS degree from the School of Business.

Students may wish to wait to take general elective credits if they plan to study abroad or select a double major.
