Helpful Application Hints

Helpful Hints for Submitting you Mason MBA Application

The Mason MBA office wants to help applicants navigate the often confusing world of MBA admissions.  This month we are highlighting some hints for submitting your application.

1)    Submit your completed application before sending any supporting documentation (e.g., transcripts, test scores, letters
of recommendation).  This will ensure that supporting documentation is properly attached to your application.

2)  Fax us your raw GMAT or GRE score.  Your official score is available to us but it can take up to 15 business days for us to receive it.  We can use your raw GMAT or GRE score from the testing center to review your application but will need to have the official score to make a decision on your application.

3)  Try to keep the length or your resume to less than two pages. For every employment experience listed, include your specific
responsibilities and accomplishments.  Don’t be afraid to include items that have enhanced you professionally, (e.g. fluency in a foreign language, education abroad, civic honors and achievements, technical competencies, and leadership activities).
