Growing Demand for MBA Careers

A recent study conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), indicates that 2015 may be one of the best hiring years in the last decade for MBA graduates. The infographic below shows an expected increase in MBA hiring, putting it at its highest hiring numbers since 2003, up 10% from last year, and up 34% since 2009. MBA careers are abundant in a variety of industries including government, healthcare, technology, consulting, and financial services.

According to the findings, the increased hiring indicates the importance and value employers place on the MBA programs, as well as the improved economy which has allowed companies to focus on growth and expansion rather than economic challenges.

As baby boomers are expected to leave the workforce in the coming decade, this growing trend of hiring graduates from MBA programs indicate that corporations will continue to focus on business schools to find skilled professionals to fill any gaps they have in their workforce.
