MBA Success Stories: Everyone’s Path is Different
Whether you want to change industries, change career paths, start your own company, earn a promotion, or just get a raise, everyone has their own metric for success and reason to pursue and MBA degree. MBA success stories can be personal or professional but overwhelmingly, MBA degree holders credit their MBA program for faster career advancement.
In a 2016 alumni perspectives survey, the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) found that 9 out of 10 business school alumni would pursue their degree all over again. The survey also found that
- 93% of management graduates say their education was rewarding to them personally
- 89% say it was rewarding to them professionally
- 75% say their graduate management education was rewarding to them financially
According to this survey, on average, alumni recoup their business school investment in less than 4 years after graduation, and 3 in 4 alumni say their degree provided them with faster career advancement.
