Mason’s M.S. in Technology Management Hosts Thai “Green” Executives Delegation

On Sunday, September 9, Mason M.S. in Technology Management (MSTM) program hosted a delegation of 23 Thai government, industry and academic representatives as part of a “Green for Executives” U.S. tour organized by Thailand’s National Science and Technology Development Agency.

The delegation—reviewing green strategies and green innovation with the goal of incorporating further into their own organizations  – –met with MSTM program faculty, including Amit Dutta and Hun Lee, the World Bank’s Samia Melhem and IBM’s Nancy Staisey, among others.  Topics included green initiatives in information and communications technologies, sustainable building innovations and the future of green cities.  The event was arranged by MSTM program director Dr. J.P. Auffret though his work with the International Academy of the CIO and Thailand’s National Electronics and Computer Technology Center.
