Elaine Viccora has been a full-time faculty member in the School of Business since 2017. She teaches Developing Your Professional Skills (BUS 103 and BUS 303), undergraduate courses that focus on effective communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. She serves as a faculty advisor to the sorority Kappa Phi Gamma. 

Her thirty-five-year career spans the private and public sectors, and she has worked as a trainer, advocate, technical writer, and project manager for associations, non-profits, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and the President’s New Freedom Commission on Mental Health. She brings an entrepreneurial mindset to her teaching having run her own communications company for ten years and a private coaching practice for five years.
