David Stubing earned his Doctor of Business Aministration degree from DePaul University.  Prior to joining the faculty at George Mason University in 2019, he was an Accounting Lecturer at Colorado State University.  At GMU, Professor Stubing teaches Managerial & Cost Accounting in the undergraduate Accounting program, and Financial Accounting in the Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Management programs.  He is also the Faculty Advisor for GMU's Acconting Honors Program and Beta Alpha Psi Chapter.  His research interests include Managerial Accounting, Financial Management, Data Analytics, and Accounting Education.  Before beginning his career in higher education, Professor Stubing was a Corporate Controller.  His is a licensed CPA in Washington state.
