Michael Stievater is a retired software sales executive with 37 years of experience in the technology industry. He headed Oracle’s North American Public Sector Applications, Cloud & Analytics sales division for 12 years. In that capacity he was responsible for revenue across the U.S. and Canada at federal, state, and local levels. Previously he was Vice President responsible for Oracle’s U.S. federal business. Prior to joining in Oracle in 1993, Mr. Stievater was a sales executive at AT&T and IBM.
Currently Mr. Stievater is an Adjunct Professor at the George Mason University School of Business. He is also Treasurer, Board of Trustees, George Mason University Foundation, Inc. and Chair, Finance Committee, George Mason University Foundation, Inc.
Mr. Stievater lives in Herndon, VA with his wife Kyle and four children. In his spare time he enjoys reading, traveling and trail running.
