2025 Washington Area Research Symposium (WARS) / Virginia Accounting Research Conference (VARC)
The Accounting Area of the Costello College of Business is excited to host the annual Washington Accounting Research Symposium (WARS)/Virginia Accounting Research Conference (VARC) on May 22-23, 2025. This joint conference will bring together accounting faculty from universities in the D.C. area and across Virginia, offering a platform for presenting research and networking with colleagues from nearby institutions. Held at the Horizon Building on George Mason University’s Fairfax campus, this two-day event promises a dynamic and engaging experience with thought-provoking discussions.
