Newly admitted freshmen and transfer students at the George Mason University campus can complete Orientation in one of the following ways below.

Pathway 1

  1. Invited to complete pre-orientation modules

    1. Pre-orientation modules complete

  2. 1:1 meeting with an Academic Advisor

  3. Orientation Requirement Fulfilled

Pathway 2

  1. Invited to complete pre-orientation modules

    1. Pre-orientation modules incomplete

  2. Invited to Virtual Advising & Registration Orientation

    1. Attended and Survey Complete

  3. Orientation Requirement Fulfilled

Pathway 3

  1. Invited to complete pre-orientation modules

    1. Pre-orientation modules incomplete

  2. Invited to Virtual Advising & Registration Orientation

    1. Did Not Attend

  3. Invited to Make-Up Orientation

    1. Attended

  4. Orientation Requirement Fulfilled

Pathway 4

  1. Invited to complete pre-orientation modules

    1. Pre-orientation modules incomplete

  2. Invited to Virtual Advising & Registration Orientation

    1. Did Not Attend

  3. Invited to Make-Up Orientation

    1. Did not attend

  4. Invited to Complete Online Orientation Modules

    1. Modules Complete

  5. Orientation Requirement Fulfilled

Pathway 5
