Journal topics and the Voice Journal directions will be provided in Blackboard under the Course Content tab. The purpose of the journal is to:

  • Integrate workplace recommendations from coursework and student interactions.

D. Employer Final Self-Evaluation (completed by employer)

Evaluation Process: Your supervisor will be asked to submit a written evaluation of your performance on 2 occasions: midsemester and at the end of the semester. After each evaluation, you are required to submit the appropriate self-evaluation form, elaborating on your internship experience.  Both evaluation forms can be found under the Course Content tab.

A research driven presentation on your topic of choice is required. The topic must be related to your major and to your internship assignment. You are expected to provide a topic to the instructor by the 4th week of your internship via the Assignments tab.

You will conduct independent reading on your chosen topic and create a 15-to-20-minute presentation summarizing what you have learned. Research should be conducted using primarily Scholarly Journals. Directions for the presentation can be found under the Course Content tab.

Annotated Bibliography

You will be required to submit an annotated bibliography for the sources you plan to use in your presentation. Information regarding the Annotated Bibliography will be found under the Assignments tab.

All grades are calculated at the end of the semester. No grade changes will be made unless there is an error on the instructor’s part. Do not email asking for a grade change.
