We are delighted to share our year-in-review newsletter. As you will see, we were quite busy in 2023!
Our November Resilience for the Future conference was excellent, with nine senior government leaders from Commerce, Defense, Homeland Security, and State, three leaders from the PPBE Commission, plus executives from across industry and academia.
We published five major reports: one on a "build allied" approach to industrial capacity, and four based on Center federal research grants—financing small businesses, government accounting system requirements, free cash flow in DoD, and dual-use technology. Check them out, as well as four new white papers on retaining defense contractors, trends in the federal contractor base, small disadvantage business goals, and second sourcing in DoD acquisitions.
We’ve also expanded our engagement with students through our ambassadors program and look forward to growing those offerings much more this year.
Finally, we celebrate the transformative gift of Greg and Camille Baroni! We are incredibly grateful for their extraordinary support. We are most excited about how this gift will enable the Center to go to new heights in 2024 and beyond! We look forward to partnering with each and everyone of you on this journey!
