Biography

Brad Swanson is an adjunct faculty member in the finance area of Costello College of Business at George Mason University. He has extensive experience in international finance including managing socially responsible private equity funds for more than twenty years. Prior to entering the finance industry he served as a foreign service officer in the U. S. Department of State. He has an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Princeton University.

His corporate experience includes nearly eight years as a deputy project manager and analyst for CACI International, a mid-sized consulting firm in the greater Washington DC Metro Area. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Greenwood also received: a Master’s of Business Administration in IT Consulting from the University of Notre Dame; a Master’s of Informational Technology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute; and a PhD in Decision, Operations and Information Technology, with a minor in Strategic Management, from the University of Maryland, College Park.
