The Financial Planning and Wealth Management Concentration is supported by the FPWM Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is a group of ten to fifteen financial planning professionals in the NoVa area that directly engage with students to connect them to internships and jobs in the DC/NoVa area. The board also provides assistance to students in the program to attend CFP/FPA talks, networking events and job fairs. The board strives to place and promote all students in the program.
In addition, Mason offers a Financial Planning Student Chapter that will directly engage with employers in the area through invited discussions. We highly encourage students to join this group since this will give students the opportunity to directly engage with employers in the area.
The Financial Planning and Wealth Management concentration is a CFP Board Registered Program.
