Brown & Brown Speaker Series ft. Kellie Goldstein
On Monday, March 16, 2015, Kellie Goldstein, CFO and SVP of Travel Channel, spoke with us about the lessons she learned throughout her successful career.
Kellie is a fellow Mason alumna with a MS in Accounting from the Business School! She spoke about her fifteen lessons learned that helped her achieve her goal of becoming a chief financial officer. This position included all four components of her ideal job formula: Learning, Appreciation, Fun and Contribution.
Kellie’s main point was about how important networking is. She said, “Networking really matters. Keep in touch with important people. Connections matter!” Stay connected and network with fellow alumni, faculty and friends through LinkedIn and School of Business events!
This event was sponsored by Brown and Brown Insurance. The Brown and Brown Speaker Series has been a great success for many years and we hope to see you at the next one with Aneesh Chopra on April 28!
