The MS in Accounting program offers a variety of pathways to admission:
- 1. Traditional
Candidate Profile: Any applicants interested in applying to the MSA program
Eligibility: Applicants must have at a minimum, a U.S. equivalent bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Completed 27 college credits in accounting.
- 2. Bachelor's Accelerated Masters (MSAccel)
Candidate Profile: Mason undergraduate accounting majors only.
Eligibility: Must have earned at least 75 semester hours. Students must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Students with accounting grades below a C may apply and may be accepted with approval from the program director.
- 3. Accounting Advisory Board
Candidate Profile: Applicants who had an internship (or have an offer) with one of our Advisory Board organizations.
Eligibility: Must have had an internship, have an internship offer, and/or are currently employed with one of our Accounting Advisory Board organizations.
- 4. Certificates Pathway
For those currently enrolled in one of our accounting graduate certificate programs:
Candidate Profile: Applicants currently enrolled in one of our accounting graduate certificate programs.
Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in one of our accounting graduate certificate programs (or have graduated from one of the accounting certificate programs)
