Tyler is a decorated Air Force veteran currently working on the redevelopment of a multi-million dollar mixed-use community located in Northern Virginia. He previously served as an Asset Manager with the U.S. General Service Administration (GSA), where he was responsible for strategic investment planning for an 8 million square foot portfolio consisting of office, retail, and warehouse space in the federal government’s Washington DC region.

This episode is the journey of Roy Barnett. Roy's career spans 38 years of experience in all aspects of real estate acquisition, development, and construction. With his current role as President of Acquisition, Planning, & Development at Van Metre, he has been involved with the master planning of the mixed-use communities of Broadlands, Stone Ridge, and Lansdowne. He is a licensed general contractor in Virginia and holds professional surveyor and/or engineering design licenses in four states.

Senior Development Manager at Artis Senior Living
This episode features the journey of Angelina Fuller, MRED Class of 2018. Angelina began her career as a Public Relations Specialist for the State Department's international real estate division. A difficult role, to say the least, answering tough questions from our Nation's highest officials. She eventually leveraged her skills into real estate development and now manages entitlements for Artis Senior Living (ASL). ASL was formed in 2012 to develop assisted living residences serving the growing senior population. Its initial focus is on the development of communities for individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and memory loss.

This episode is the very interesting journey of Benjamin Myers, MRED Class of 2016. We discuss Ben starting out his career as a photojournalist, then successfully pivoted into real estate; he is currently a Partner at Eberly Myers LLC. Eberly Myers LLC targets value-add or redevelopment real estate opportunities within Virginia, DC, Maryland, and Pennsylvania with a focus on multifamily or mixed-use assets within walkable communities.
