Resume Writing for Military Students - March 30th

Are you a School of Business student with military experience? Are you looking for ways to articulate your skills onto paper? Join your School of Business Career Counselors and Academic Advisors for a resume writing workshop on Thursday, March 30th from 12:30-1:30 pm on Zoom (link to follow).

Career counselors will be available to work through your military experiences and translate them onto your resume for employers. Academic advisors will be available for academic questions. 

Students should come prepared with: 

  • a copy of their most recent resume 
  • at least one job description of interest. 

Who will be leading the session: 

  • Kelly Coughlan - Kelly is the Career Services Manager at the Office of Career Services within the School of Business. She is a military spouse (Navy) and has worked on numerous installations in Career Services. Her previous roles include teaching resume writing, cover letters, LinkedIn, interview skills, and federal employment to those transitioning out of the military (Transition Assistance Program/TAP) and military spouses (Fleet & Family Support Center/FFSC). 
  • Anthony Green- Anthony is an academic advisor in the School of Business. He previously served eight years in the Army as a carpentry and masonry specialist. 
  • Jaclyn Beasley- Jaclyn is the assistant director of undergraduate online programs in the School of Business. Jaclyn has a passion for assisting our military affiliated students and has a close family member who is currently serving.
