Down the Line (DTL) Sports Center will soon be the premier indoor pickleball facility in the DMV area. It will feature 18 permanent indoor pickleball courts, 7 state-of-the-art golf simulators, and a sports bar to enjoy food and refreshments while you play. Our 50,000 square foot facility will open in Annandale, VA in late 2024. A smaller, first look location will open in the City of Fairfax this winter. With forthcoming franchising opportunities DTL will provide the best indoor pickleball facilities in all of DMV.
DTL is looking for a self-motivated and energetic marketing intern to join our team as we look to grow our marketing department. This internship will provide a chance for you to build your portfolio and experience in marketing and social media. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and exceptional organizational skills. This is an opportunity for you to help fortify the success of a new business. You will play a pivotal role in the growth of what will become synonymous with the best indoor pickleball facilities in the area.
Marketing Intern Responsibilities:
- Performing market analysis and research on the latest trends.
- Assisting with daily administrative duties.
- Designing and presenting new social media campaign ideas.
- Monitoring all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback.
- Preparing detailed promotional presentations.
- Helping with the planning and hosting of marketing events.
- Researching and evaluating competitor marketing and digital content.
- Contributing to the creation of mock-ups, email campaigns, and social media content.
Marketing Intern Requirements:
- Current enrollment in a graduate course for marketing, communications, or in a similar field.
- Familiarity with marketing computer software and social media platforms.
- Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a passion for marketing.
- Outstanding multitasking abilities.
