Biography
As Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Julie is responsible for Serco's Compensation, Benefits, HR Compliance, Recruitment, Business Support, and Employee Experience. In addition, she is also responsible for Serco's Operational Excellence; PM Training; Employee Rotation Program and Intern Program.
Van Leunen joined Serco in 2011 and has held various HR roles, most recently serving as Director of Talent & Strategic Programs. Julie’s experience includes managing Talent, HR Shared Services, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Compliance, Operational Excellence, Global Mobility and HR Transformation. Prior to joining Serco she began her career in Human Resources with a residential landscape architecture firm followed by several years providing HR and Global Mobility consulting services to a wide variety of fortune 500 companies and U.S. government contractors.
Van Leunenholds an Executive MBA and an International Affairs Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University.
